Initial Consultation & Feasibility Assessment
- Meet with the client to understand the project scope, budget, and timeline.
- Conduct a feasibility study to evaluate site commercial construction & kitchen fit-out conditions, zoning rules, and resource consent requirements.
- Provide an initial cost estimate and timeline.


Design & Planning
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and consultants to develop concept plans.
- Ensure designs comply with the New Zealand Building Code (NZBC) and local council regulations.
- Obtain required consents, such as:
- Building Consent (via local council)
- Resource Consent (if applicable)
- Health & Safety Compliance (WorkSafe NZ)
- Develop a detailed project plan, including materials, workforce allocation, and risk assessments.


Pre-Construction & Site Preparation
- Conduct soil testing and geotechnical surveys.
- Arrange subcontractors, suppliers, and material procurement.
- Set up site access, utilities, and temporary facilities.
- Implement a Health & Safety Plan (in compliance with the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015).
- Perform pre-construction inspections and approvals.


Construction Phase
- Site works, including excavation, foundation laying, and structural framework.
- Follow the Licensed Building Practitioners (LBP) scheme for restricted building work.
- Regular inspections by engineers and council officials to ensure code compliance.
- Track progress and adjust plans as needed.
- Maintain strict quality control and safety compliance.


Final Inspection & Compliance Approval
- Conduct final site checks with clients, engineers, and local council representatives.
- Obtain the Code Compliance Certificate (CCC) from the council.
- Carry out finishing work (painting, fixtures, landscaping, etc.).
- Conduct a final client walkthrough for approval.


Handover & Post-Construction Support
- Deliver final documentation, including warranties, compliance certificates, and maintenance guides.
- Provide a defect liability period (as per contract).
- Offer ongoing maintenance services, if applicable.
